Professional Services Steps
Our comprehensive eight-step process will help you manage the project from beginning to end.
- Evaluation of current environment. Discussions are conducted with customers, senior management and professionals in production management, sales and marketing, IT and compliance. The deliverables include industry benchmarking data and a productivity analysis for existing operations.
- Development of system project objectives and metrics. Based on client feedback, we develop functional specifications and identify process improvements and associated performance metrics.
- Identification of preferred technologies and supplier review. We qualify suppliers to determine which technologies and systems can meet specification requirements. To determine this, we prepare a ROI/payback projection, risk/benefit analysis and technology/characteristic matrix with performance, as well as running cost and acquisition cost comparisons.
- Management of the RFP process and solicitation of bids from suppliers. The proposals are short-listed based on pre-established criteria as well as your input and direction.
- Negotiation of purchase requisitions. The next phase involves the negotiation for final selection. The conclusion of this phase results in the issuance of one (or multiple) purchase orders.
- Project management and implementation. From equipment procurement to the first accepted production run, we provide complete project management and coordination of all activities associated with the implementation plan.
- Sales and marketing training. A coordinated training program and launch of the new capabilities for the sales and marketing teams are provided.
- Project review. The final phase of our consulting service is a complete project review. This includes the transfer of responsibility for the system into the respective functional areas of the company. A complete documentation package of the project is the final deliverable.
